Best camera system on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor with Floor Stand for a couple of weeks, but it is easy to see why this is considered by many to be the best camera system on the market. The comprehensive suite of features is extensive and if you are a first time parent or just anxious in general, the piece of mind that comes with this camera makes it worth the premium price tag.
Upon opening, the assembly process very straightforward, and getting the app paired with the camera was trouble free. Image quality both during the day and at night is excellent, perhaps the best I have ever seen on a baby monitor, and while great image quality is important, the Nanit software is what really sets this camera apart. My favorite feature is the breathing band included in the kit that allows for real time breath tracking. I like that there are no electronics being worn directly on baby’s body compared with other monitoring wearables on the market. The band is comfortable for baby, and it was so nice to have the breath tracking during a recent sickness. We were able to rest better at night knowing the Nanit would alert us if things went off track. The camera even continues to work if the power goes out, which another feature that helps ease an anxious parent’s mind. The Insights information provided by the software is a joy for data nerds like my husband. Observing trends in our baby’s sleep patterns, length of sleep, and quality of sleep has helped us make adjustments so that our baby is getting better overall sleep. I personally love the milestone videos and the ability to save memories. My only issue with all of these wonderful features is that they are only included for the first year, and I am already hooked, so there will be additional cost to keep things going.
I am truly thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing our family with this baby monitor. In a short time, it has become a vital part of our baby care routine and is providing so much peace of mind. For any parent looking for a reliable, comprehensive monitoring solution, I highly recommend the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand.

Every feature you never knew you needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand. Upon first receiving the monitor I could tell it was going to be great quality. The packaging and instructions is really well done. This made setup a breeze. Learning how to navigate the app and camera was very simple. I love that you can add other members to the parenting team but also can limit their access if needed. The floor stand is a great addition. I’m the type of person who rearranges the furniture a lot. It’s perfect that I don’t have to worry about putting holes in the wall and can put it anywhere in the room. Another great feature is the built in sound machine. It’s nice to not worry about one more device. Which brings me to the breathing band. I LOVE that it does not put an electronic device on the baby. The camera simply watches the movement of the band that you strap around your baby. The velcro is very secure so I’m never worried about it coming undone. The breathing motion monitoring gave me great comfort while my baby is sleeping. My baby can now roll over and I love that even if he rolls to his belly the monitor will still track his breathing. Lastly I love the app. It’s great that no matter where I am I can see him on my phone. Overall this is a great baby monitor. I think any parent would be really happy with all the different features this has to offer. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

Amazing quality and incredible convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box, this floor stand and monitor were super easy to understand and assemble. I really love how much effort is put into ensuring children's safety- the cords come with nice built-on covers that minimize the risk of your kiddo getting tangled. As a parent, these sorts of things make me appreciative of a brand- my kid's safety is definitely my priority. Once you get to the set-up, it is incredibly easy. Everything is laid out nicely and the instruction booklet is easy to follow. I was super excited to discover that the camera adjusts not only up and down, but side to side. I was able to get the perfect view of my kiddos crib, and as he grows up, I can use it in his big-kid bedroom to continue keeping a close eye on him. The quality of the camera is incredible, it's very clear and crisp and only has a 2-3 second delay (we tested it out of curiosity).
The insights data is amazing! I love that it holds onto memories as well, and it is very easy to save a memory. I am considering upgrading to the higher tier so I can hold onto even more video clips and see my baby's growth in the videos the app makes.
Overall, the floor stand is my favorite method of mounting a baby monitor. It's so convenient and can be placed just about wherever, while still providing a perfect overhead view. I love that it connects directly with my phone and I can check in on my kiddo whenever. There was an instance where I had to miss bedtime and being able to tell my son I loved him before bed via the Nanit was the only thing that made it a little bit easier.
If you're on the fence about picking this up, just do it! It's amazing and really helps me to have peace of mind.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try this amazing camera out, I don't say this often, but it truly is life changing.

Piece of mind must buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was so excited to see the difference from my older model nanit and floorstand. Wow, what a difference!
Camera- the picture quality is SUPERB. It is so clear I can see patterns of the bedsheets, and truly see my kid CLEARLY. I have experience zero buffering issues and the connection is reliable. I love the piece of mind it gives me. My several years older nanit I could see, but it was pixelated so at times I would peak my head in to relieve myself of anxiety and get a closer look. Have had zero need to do so since I can see so well!
Stand- the base of this stand is everything. Since the stand has a flat base (not a tripod set up) I can easily fit the stand behind the bed and flush push my crib against it/wall. I am the worst person to put things together but this took me less than 5 minutes. I love that I can easily move it to an end of the crib without having to disassemble.
Adjusting the camera in the stand is also so easy to allow to get a full room review (if needed more than just the crib).
Truly this has helped my anxiety tremendously by being able to see my child crystal clear and a reliable connection. So happy. Must buy!!!

A Step Above

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first ten months of my daughters life, we made do with a very rudimentary monitor system. It wasn’t great, but it did the job. But when I had the opportunity to try the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor with Stand through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I jumped at the chance.
Right out of the gate I was impressed. As someone who isn’t the most technologically advanced, the set up of this system was a breeze. Every component of the floor stand snapped together with ease and the connecting of the camera through the app was as simple as you could hope for! And even though I wasn’t pregnant when I set this up, I believe it would still be as simple even with the proverbial “pregnancy brain”!
I also love the floor stand system. As one who probably spent too much time designing the perfect wall in the nursery for my daughter’s crib to be against, I would not have been thrilled to have to ruin it with installing a more permanent camera system. But with this floor stand, I was able to position it at the end of the crib and still leave the wall intact.
Lastly, I will talk about the app and the interface with this camera. At first, I wasn’t sure if I needed all of the bells and whistles that this camera and app offer. But about three weeks after getting the camera, my husband and I left our daughter in the care of her grandparents and headed to Mexico for ten days. It was the first time I had left her for any substantial amount of time. I really wanted to take the time on the vacation and relax and not be in constant contact with my in-laws about my daughter. But as any mother probably knows all too well, missing your children is a real thing! This app was a real lifeline for me. It allowed me to tap into the feed and video from my phone, in Mexico, and watch her when she as taking her naps and sleeping. Nothing too crazy, but I loved getting the reports each morning showing she had a good night sleep. It definitely put us at ease. To top it off, the camera does have a two-way speaker. So when there was one time when our daughter got sick in the middle of the night and needed new sheets on her bed, we were able to direct her grandfather to the drawer where the extras were located through the camera. So nice.
All in all, I would recommend this camera and stand system to anyone who is looking for just a little bit more out of your typical baby monitor. Five out of five stars!

Great monitor but wish it were a little smarter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was pretty easy to put together, and like that it is on a stand; Our bedroom is made of brick so screwing things into the wall can be difficult. The camera is supposed to be centered on the crib, but we use a pack and play that has a leg right in the middle so it's slightly off center. I do wish the camera could be zoomed in a little though, as the pack and play is also right next to our bed so it is definitely recording me as I sleep haha.
I also wish the camera had an automatic timer for it to turn on and off. I sometimes forget to turn it off during the day, and movements outside cast a shadow into our room that will trigger the camera's motion sensor (which I had already decreased the motion sensitivity for).
We have not used the breathing band yet, but it certainly looks interesting. We aren't particularly worried about baby's breathing at 7 months.
We enjoy watching the summary in order to see how often baby wakes up and puts himself back to sleep, plays with his paci or feet, etc.

It's kind of a bummer that you need to pay for different subscriptions in order to get additional caretakers and insights. We live with my in-laws and it would be nice if they could access at least just viewing the camera/notifications for naps and nights we're away. I'd also really like to be able to see the positioning analytics, but oh well.
Overall, I think it's a great baby monitor if you're looking for one to provide phone notifications!

Fantastic high quality camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We traded in a security camera we were using as a baby monitor for the Nanit Pro and what a difference it’s been!
The quality of the Nanit camera is fantastic in HD and r he app is very easy to maneuver with a lot of different features.
The camera and stand were easy to setup and the instructions in the app made it even easier to put together. I like that the head of the stand is adjustable as well, in the event you need to move it around.
The features this camera includes are top quality. The sleep tracking tool, the temperature monitoring, motion detection, and the growth and breathing tracking are just some of the great additions to this already fantastic baby monitor.
The only item I don’t particularly care for is the stand. I understand if you are unable to drill into your walls for whatever reason, this would be a wonderful option. However, for us owning our home and having the ability to hang a camera on the wall, I would opt for the wall-mounted version. The stand takes up space and the tubes around the cord is a lot.
This camera does come with the breathing band as well and it’s been such a great feature to have for first time parents who are a little paranoid.
We received this product through Stellar Panel and we are so incredibly grateful to them for this wonderful baby camera! Thank you!
Overall, I would highly recommend the Nanit Pro. It’s been such a great addition to my son’s nursery and I would purchase as a gift for anyone in my life that is having a baby.

The BEST monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is everything I have been looking for in a baby monitor. I love the stand and how easy it was to set up - within minutes we were up and running. The quality of the camera is so good & I really have a piece of mind now that I can keep and eye on my baby. I love the fact that there is a breathing band too - adding a really unique feature that stands out. I used the breathing band and it is super cool & easy to use - perfect for that extra piece of mind.
I also really love the motion alerts and the sound alerts - that way I am notified instantly if my baby rolls or starts crying.
I also really like the smart technology with the camera and the insights - being able to see actual trends of my baby's sleep from when the camera last noticed a caregiver to the average time slept - it really is everything you need!
This is by far the best camera I have tried and a big thank you to better sleep!
