The camera quality is excellent.

The camera quality is excellent. And the algorithms indicating sleep time are pretty good overnight. The system however has challenges distinguishing sleep time during the day. Assuming you put your child in the crib at any point the system assumes the intent to sleep versus just putting the child down for a few moments to keep them secure/safe.

Connection buffers alot. Also you can not hear the audio if app is not kept open.

Great quality camera that works across multiple devices

The camera quality and how the alerts/notifications and video streams works across my wife's smartphone and my smartphone is super useful. We switch off taking care of our baby often, so having multiple touch points to look at how baby is doing is great.
Unfortunately the main feature of breathing monitoring is where this product falls short. For some reason Nanit won't allow you to disable the alarm from sounding on the camera itself, which is daunting and very disruptive when the camera wrongfully detects breathing has stopped, and startles both baby and whoever else is sleeping in the room with a LOUD ALARM. Until Nanit fixes this to enable alarm to only sound on the smartphone, I'm turning this feature off. This makes this camera not so different from competitors tbh.

Slight .5 second delay on

Slight .5 second delay on our wifi; wish I could move the camera angle by control; stand is very sturdy but cord covers seem a bit random - I guess good to protect cords from being damaged.

Great monitor, very clear video picture quality, and accurate analytics. We use it every day and do not regret our purchase at all. It helps us to continue our lives while our baby is sleeping without needing to watch her continuously

Poor picture quality for the price. Constant lost connection even with good internet connection. Constantly having to reboot for sound and picture. Definitely not worth the money

All that’s Nanit

I purchased the complete Nanit’s setup for my daughter-in-law and son for the birth of their first child. At first I was skeptical but was purchasing the monitor they wanted. After seeing the monitor in use I am very pleased. The baby was only 5 pounds, so the wraps were huge but still were able to monitor his breathing. The floor stand is conveniently moved from the nursery to the master bedroom since he is still in a bassinet by the parents’ bed. They have even used the tabletop stand and moved the monitor while he is in the swing. Being able to use their phones is very convenient and the picture is very clear. Another feature that they are using and loving is to be able to go back and track their schedules. If they don’t remember what time he got up all they have to do is go back and review the footage. This was a great purchase and has given them peace of mind.
