Excellent Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor! We have been very happy with this monitor and floor stand. It was fairly easy to assemble and connect with the app on our phones and it is also very easy to move around if you need to for traveling or room changes.
The breathing band has provided us with comfort while our little one sleeps and we found it to work pretty well. Our little one would sometimes pull at the band but it never became a huge issue. As he gets older (he is 10 months) I think we will use it less since it becomes less necessary or important to us.
The insights data is most helpful for younger babies but is still good to know information for our 10 month old. It's helpful to see his progress in the form of sleep data at the end of the week and I'm always interested to see his longest stretch and whatnot. I think it might be most helpful if parents are sleep training or transitioning a baby to their crib. By the time we used it our baby was sleeping throughout the night so it wasn't incredibly helpful or necessary, but still fun to review.
This baby monitor has worked really well for our family that includes an almost 3yo and a 10mo. We love having easy access to their cameras when we are away from the home and have family or babysitters watching them and putting them to bed at naps and nighttime. We have had very few if any issues with the livestream with this current monitor. We specifically love the split screen feature since we have two kiddos so we can view them both at once; this is a total game changer!
The only cons that we've appreciated are background noise in videos if you have the background noise on the nanit app selected and some settings and features we wish "viewers" would have access to that they don't. If you approve a grandparent as a viewer-they don't have the ability to hear the video noise unless you make them an administrator. Personally, I prefer to disable all access as soon as a grandparent is done watching our kiddos, and it's a bit of a pain to have to go in and deselect all those permissions but it's not a huge deal. Also, if you take a video on your phone while your nanit camera app is also open, the sound carries into the video you record on your phone.
Overall, we have been thrilled with this monitor and really like the quality of video, ability to view two kiddos with the split screen, and consistent quality of the livestream.

Fantastic camera and absolutely worth it

The Nanit Pro with floor stand is absolutely worth the hype. First and foremost, setting it up was really easy. And I mean Really Easy. I was initially intimidated by the fancy, heavy box, but once I started, I realized there were only three parts total. Just assemble the stand sticks, attach the camera, and connect them to the plug in the wall. The longest part was waiting for the app to download on my phone.
First and foremost, the Nanit Camera's image quality is superb. The HD video stream provides crystal-clear visuals, ensuring you can see every little detail of your baby in the crib. There is an excellent night vision feature since it shows a clear image even in complete darkness. While there is no 360 camera and doesn’t have the option to move the camera remotely, you can adjust the angle and rotation manually. This is good because you have a steady and consistent image. However, you can rotate the image on your phone, which is helpful, and if you have a second Nanit camera, you can see them both simultaneously on a split screen. I was not initially thrilled by the tubes holding the wiring, but after placing it and plugging it in, I was very grateful that I would not have to worry about crawling or rolling babies getting tangled in the cord.
The Nanit Camera’s app has a sleep-tracking feature. The camera tracks the baby's movements throughout the night and learns where their favorite spot to snuggle into is. This invaluable data includes sleep duration, sleep quality, and even the number of times your baby wakes up. I found this feature, accompanied by the use of the sleep band, to be incredibly helpful in understanding my baby's sleep habits and making informed decisions to promote better sleep. I was impressed by the quality of the sound of the two-way audio, the options for background noise (birds, waves, white noise), and the option to turn on a nightlight, which is my favorite feature since the brightness can be adjusted right from your phone and the light aims up so that it provides light for the whole room without disturbing baby or blinding momma.

Easy Convenient and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted to receive the Nanit Pro camera from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. We are in the process of moving and this has come in so handy as we’ve traveled to visit friends and family before we move. The device was super easy to set up and the app is very user friendly, providing lots of interesting insights including temperature and humidity sensors. Connecting to wifi, pairing and positioning the camera, etc. were all a breeze. I received the floor stand, which we used for several days at home before we hit the road. My husband and I really liked the sleep tracking that using the floor stand provided and we liked that it didn’t need a ton of adjusting to get the right angle. We didn’t use the breathing band because my daughter is too big for it now but we will definitely use the Nanit breathing band if we have another child in the future. I can see that it would have provided huge peace of mind to us as new parents.
We liked the camera so much that we purchased the travel stand and case and have been using it for several weeks now. It takes maybe 3 minutes to set up in a new place (just have to update network in the app) and the wide angle of the camera means it’s super easy to position when you’re in a new space (for example, right now ours is placed on a box of diapers on a nightstand). Only downside is you don’t get the sleep tracking when using the stand so we’re looking forward to that when we get settled again.
The app consistently performs well, the video loads fast and is decent quality (our one critique is that the video quality could be a little better), and you can have sound running in the background on your phone while it is locked or you are using other apps. Doing so doesn’t completely destroy your battery either! The camera also has a sound machine built in so you can play white noise (or a few other sounds) and a nightlight on it as well. With its sturdy carrying case, this really makes it the perfect all in one travel companion!
Overall, we absolutely love our Nanit Pro and will continue to use it for years to come! Again, I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very impressed with the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand! I never had a Wi-Fi monitor before and was nervous I would have problems with internet but so far we haven’t had any issues! My husband works a lot and he likes being able to check in on the baby from work and he can even talk to us through the monitor which is an awesome feature!!
It was easy to assemble and I love that it covers the wires since my baby gets into everything.
The app is great and shows the time my baby went to sleep and how many times/what times we checked on him throughout the night. This is incredibly useful so my husband can check the app instead of asking me every time!!
I wish I had bought this monitor earlier and could’ve used the breathing band when my baby was younger. That would definitely bring me peace of mind. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this excellent product.

Perfect Baby Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this item to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am amazed! I never have used baby monitors for my first couple of kiddos but as we got a bigger place I knew we needed one. Thankfully this monitor came at the perfect time! Let’s start from the beginning. The box the monitor came in is a good decent size but it is pretty heavy so be cautious not to drop it. Opening up the box all the parts are right there half assembled. So no real need for directions but I still read the directions. You have to connect the poles together while pulling the power cord so the cords can connect properly. The top poles are made of metal which is what holds the camera. The bottom pole is plastic as well as the base. I did have some difficulties assembling the bottom pole compared to the top pole which has easier to assemble and disassemble, whereas the bottom pole doesn’t. You can connect the bottom pole to either the left or right corner to lay flush against the wall is tricky as it kept popping off for me which I did not like but I manage to get it to stay. I like that there is a app for you to be able to use this product. You also would need Wi-Fi and or cellular data to use the monitor. It took my phone it took a couple minutes to connect as I am not sure why it wasn’t working. It did not want to turn on but finally it turned on and I connected it after three tries. Now looking at the video feed it was lagging by about three seconds but I love how high definition camera is. It does also have a good maybe 3 x 5‘ of camera viewing to show around the area. I didn’t get to use the breathing band yet but as previous reviews have stated the band is small so I do wish it is available to purchase in a adjustable size rather than just a one size. Overall I’m really pleased with this baby camera monitor and the slimness of it as it does not take a lot of space. For the price I think there could be a couple of better adjustments to the product, as well as not having to purchase a yearly plan to use other features for the price that it is valued at.

Good choice for those who enjoy the latest tech

I have enjoyed this product. It’s very easy to use, as is the app that goes with the monitor. I like that I can use a simple fabric band to track my baby’s breathing rather than something that might break, just with the video monitor that gives me peace of mind. I can easily do chores downstairs while baby sleeps upstairs without worrying if he’s awake or crying and I just don’t hear him.
I like the versatility of being able to use it as a floor unit, or to mount it on the wall. I have chosen just to use the floor stand as it suits my needs but the option is nice.
On the app I haven’t found a way to modify the feed, it would be nice to be able to crop or zoom the viewing area. This is the main downside of the unit for me personally.
Otherwise I’m very surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed the product. I’ve not used a baby monitor much in the past but I can see this quickly becoming a product I don’t know how I lived without in a two story home.
I really like best that dad or I can peek in on him even when we’re away from home, with the app.

The BEST smart monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand is an incredible product and a HUGE step above the rest when it comes to monitors. This was the perfect monitor for both the technology-obsessed (my husband) and the technology-challenged (me) because the app makes it so simple to use. Set up was so simple and the floor stand is extremely sturdy and fits perfect behind crib. The HD live streaming is VERY high quality for crystal clear images of baby. I love the wide lens which allows you to have a wide range of view as well as an extremely high quality zoom allowing you to see every detail. My favorite feature is the temperature and humidity gauges allowing me to be sure my daughter is always sleeping in the perfect conditions. The breathing band has been extremely helpful especially in these early stages where you just wanna stand over your newborn to make sure they are breathing. It sends the data directly to your phone through the app allowing you to monitor exactly how they are breathing. The Insight data is also extremely helpful when switching shifts with my husband over night because it allows you to see exactly what time the baby was picked up, put down and how long they have been sleeping for. This has been a life saver when trying to understand my daughters sleeping patterns! I also frequently check out the ‘sleep tips’ and ‘age related tips’ Nanit provides as they are always extremely customized to my daughters exact stage and I have learned sooo much through this feature. They give you goals such as ‘help baby fall asleep on their own’ and ‘develop a consistent bed time’ and it recognizes these things as they happen and alerts you once you have achieved that goal. I find this feature to be worth the price tag alone never mind the incredible quality of the overall product. The feature I use the MOST is the background audio option which let’s you switch the audio into the background of your phone so if you are texting or doing something else you are still able to hear what’s going on in baby’s room without actually having the app open. Overall, we love this product and will be recommending to all my mama friends! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing baby monitor.

Wow just wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow just wow! I have used the Nanit pro for two babies now and cannot speak enough about how amazing this monitor is. The picture is incredibly crisp, the system is so easy to use, and I love the UI! As a sleep deprived mom I am so grateful that I can always go back and see when my baby woke up last. My inlaws who are not the most tech savvy can use this system with ease as well!
The new floor stand is A++. I have the previous model and love that this is less clunky. Because of the smaller base you can get the monitor much more directly over the crib, giving you a clearer picture and not missing out on the top section. I also at times in the early days when baby is sleeping in different bassinets have moved the monitor around the house and like that this base is smaller and not slamming into doors etc.
The breathing band is also comfortable and so easy to use. We are just coming off of a very active sick season for my toddler and the breathing band has given me extra pierce of mind with my newborn. I have found compared to other monitors that the band is great in not slipping off.
I also work outside of the home and it’s so nice to be able to go back and watch some of the clips of my little one throughout the day when I’m missing her.
We love the Nanit pro, if you are between this and another monitor,this is the one for you! This is our third Nanit monitor in our household and we received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
