love that my husband and

love that my husband and i can see her from wherever we are at any time, really love that there is now a separate device to watch the feed at home so we don’t have to drain our phone battery, and love the reassurance that the breathing band provides for us nervous parents. recommending this to other new parents is a no brainer

Easy to use. Helpful insights. Very good camera. Haven't been able to use the breathing band as the baby is still being wrapped fully in a swaddle.

The monitor’s battery lasts less

The monitor’s battery lasts less than 4 hours, even if no activity is happening in the baby’s room. I have to be constantly charging it, which is not ideal and not what I expected. In addition, there’s no feature to put the monitor “on sleeping mode” and to only turn on if sound or movement is detected. This feature is available for monitors that I have, which cost 1/4 of what the nanit monitor cost me.
On the other hand, I like the camera and the app on my phone. Even though the app detects wrong activities a lot (E. g. says baby is crying when baby is just talking smoothly in the room, or says baby was taken out of bed when baby was not even in the room and it was just a caregiver entering the room).
Hope these issues get resolved and wish the battery of the monitor lasted much longer

Love Nanit! Gives me peace

Love Nanit! Gives me peace when I’m able to see and hear my baby clearly all times. The temperature control is a great feature and I truly appreciate the notifications and background noise feature! Love it!

we have been using this for our newborn baby for the last three weeks and it has been a complete game change! The peace of mind it gives allowing the baby to sleep in the bassinet and us to get stuff done while he’s resting is the best

We have two cameras now

We have two cameras now that our son is about to be born. Due tomorrow! The split screen will be really useful. My favorite thing about Nanit is being able to setup notifications and use the background noise. It gives me confidence in the system and allows me to stay in tune with the kids but move freely around. Even away I know what’s going on. There are 2 reasons for 4 stars. 1 is the temperature sensor on the stand unit reads off. We are working with support to get that corrected and they have been helpful, but nonetheless it’s annoying at this price point. The second reason is the need for a subscription for each camera. I would think there would be plans to accommodate this. Instead it’s a flat rate for each camera.
