This camera monitoring system gives me so much peace of mind as a first time mom with PPA… I wasn’t able to sleep hardly at all until I had this setup over my sons crib and I am so thankful for it still, months later

Enjoying the product and the ease of use. However as moving over from another camera there are some features I am surprised nanit lacks. It is very surprising that using the VOX setting doesn’t illuminate the screen when in night mode or playing in the background. I was disappointed that the display has a poor battery and does not last long on one charge. It was also interesting to me that the display does not sleep with background noise playing unless scrolling through settings or other background activities, while the monitor is on the baby it will not sleep even with sleep settings on. Happy to discuss other quirck or explain and details further but overall have a positive impression.

I don’t like how expensive

I don’t like how expensive the system is and that you still have to pay on top of it to enjoy all the features. Also ordered the entire system and still haven’t received the actual monitor. Be prepared for separate deliveries and to use the app to monitor your child in the meantime.

We love the flexibility of being able to take it with us where we need to go. The travel case is perfect and protects the camera. The picture that comes through on the phone app is good and clear. It has great functions. Very happy with this when using it to monitor my children.

The Nanit monitor stands out

The Nanit monitor stands out for its smart features and clean design. The app is user-friendly, the camera quality is excellent, and the breathing motion monitoring works seamlessly. I also like that it grows with your child thanks to the sleep analytics. It’s one of the few baby products that feels truly worth the investment.

I was skeptical about Nanit

I was skeptical about Nanit to be completely honest. My baby is a wiggle worm, so the idea of having a sock like monitor seemed much easier than a belly band. Not only did the belly band stay in place all night, but the smart technology alerted the second something seemed off. Thankfully, nothing was actually wrong, but I was able to check immediately. Nanit has left me without worry while my sweet girl is sleeping or playing in her crib. Between the cry alerts, motion detection, smart band and smart sheets, I am beyond at ease knowing she is safe and sleeping well on her own. Plus, the connection is great-- I have never had to worry about lack of connection, wondering why the camera is blurry, or an update keeping the camera from working while she is sleeping. I would purchase this again 100 times over if needed.
