This Air Purifier works way better than I expected. I live in a two bed room apartment with a 9 foot high ceiling. The windows and sliding glass door on my balcony face South. I get plenty of sun but no air flow cross breeze. So every time I cook the smell just hangs in the air. Most of the time the air quality is pretty good and the unit cleans the air very quietly. In fact right now the meter read 003 and the fan is work slowly and very quietly. Last night I broiled pork chops in the oven had a little smoke and the Unit came on strong with the meter reading 450. A reading of over 115 is considered high. Shortly after dinner the unit continued to work and within a 1/2 hour my air was clean again. No smell to detect.
I walked outside for some fresh air and when I came back in you could not tell I had cooked anything. Just nice clean air. The unit operates really really well and is very quiet. Totally happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this product.

I’m really satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Core 400S. I did a lot of research for an air purifier with deodorizer. I have allergies plus 2 cats. Within a few short hours of receiving and setting it up my runny nose stopped and the house smelled fresher. I purchased a Core 300S right afterward for my bedroom. Great product, easy to use and set up the app, and attractive as well.

The air purifier is great. It does truly change the air in your home. It’s takes away cooking odors in short period of time. The air is cool and refreshing. Will be buying the 600s soon.

The HEPA units seems to be of nice quality, packaged well. A bit of a delay on shipping, but that's with everything right now.
We bought this unit for our bedroom. We have two german shepherds, which creates a very dusty home. My wife has allergies which makes her life miserable at times, so we were looking for something to help with that. It's always hard to tell just how much of a difference these make, but I do like it. We turn it up a bit at night for the white noise and increase air filtration. We have an older competitors brand that seems to register the air quality as worse when the dogs walk by as opposed to the new one makes very little change. When cooking and creating some smoke, the new units goes into overdrive to clear up the air, where the older one doesn't change at all. So no clue why one changes and the other doesn't.
Overall, I would recommend this unit as its nice quality. The the air filter seems to be well made. The controls are easy to use, and the added wifi capability with app is really nice.

I just bought the Levoit Core 400S Smart True HEPA Air Purifier just before the wild fires in Canada and all that smoke that killed the air quality in New York City. For some reason I had the windows opened and the purifier off. The air in the apartment smelled like smoke, so I closed the windows turned on the purifier and the light rings were red. Within the hour the air started getting better in the living room and the rings on the purifier turned blue, indicating that the air quality in the room was better. No more smoke smell in the entire apartment for that matter. Now I keep my windows close and my purifier on all day.
This purifier was worth the purchase and I am very happy I bought it.
