I wish the outcome of this bench would have been different, because it is a nice concept, with a solid wood slab. However, there were several issues with the bench. The bottom of the legs of the bench were oxidized, to the point of powder metal on the floor. The wood slab had a scratch and wood filler in another area, and areas of the gold/brass coating was missing on the legs. Received a replacement bench, with similar issues, to less of a degree, but similar issues. The replacment bench wobbled, and the hardware kit came with replacement rubber feet. My hope was to replace the rubber feet and correct the wobble. I spent a couple of hours fighting to remove the rubber feet from the bench, since they were disintegrating, it was process to pull the feet from the legs. However, to no avail in correcting the wobble in the bench.
A star bump of two stars instead of one, because the Simpli Home customer service was nothing but amazing. Easy to work with, fair and ultimately provided a refund when the replacement bench did not arrive in expected conditions.
