To many features

It is not the type of watch I want and need. I want a smartwatch that tells me how many hours I sleep and the type of sleep I get. How many steps I walk each day, and my heart rate. I would like to return this watch and get another one with those features ONLY

Excellent watch, except Solar charging

I love every thing about this watch, except its inability to charge via solar. No matter the amount of ‘solar intensity’, the watch battery doesn’t increase with sunlight.

Awesome hybrid smart watch

I bought the Instinct Crossover a few months ago and have been using it for a lot of running as well as my everyday wear. I’d been pretty skeptical of whether I needed a smart watch for my training—I am blown away by how much benefit I have gotten from the data this thing captures. I love the look and the functionality. The device is easy to use and I’ve had no problems with it! Great battery life too. Can’t wait to bring it on more adventures.

Had instinct solar since Christmas 23. Now it’s March 1st. I have used it every day and here are my thoughts.
Pro: not heavy on the wrist, accurate in steps and distance keeping, accurate for bicycle miles, accurate for time. It took me a little time to figure it out because I am older and eyes not so good, but now it’s easy to operate. Overall a good product and I would buy again.

Cons: although it has a light it’s not that easy to see time in middle of the night, I was hoping the hands would be luminescent so the shine all the time. Straps are garbage and should offer a metal upgrade strap which I got 3rd party. Also the solar part seems a bit pointless as it only charges such a little bit. The main charge lasts about 12 days. Face is black and I think it could be a little lighter. Again just to see when it’s dark.

Crystal cracked when I wore it to ski. Not sure why. Garmin has always been good on prior issues.

Overall delivering as promised

I've had this watch a couple months now. I wore a much simpler Garmin Vivo series for the last five years and thought I would upgrade.
Pros are lots of features and mostly easy-to-read display. I like a watch with hands so this was perfect for me.
Cons are the operating system and features are NOT as intuitive as I would like. I'm learning, but finding an app and getting it started takes far longer than necessary sometimes. Lots of clicks. I miss the simple VIVO sometimes when I just simply want to start an activity.
