Difficult to Use

The watch hands are not illuminated, making it hard to tell time. The "Garmin" scribed on the clock face is placed where it looks like a clock hand pointing to 9, causing confusion when trying to read the time with the barely visible clock hands. There are so many functions that getting to the one you want is cumbersome. The ability to bring favorite functions to the top of the stack would be a help. There is no GPS, so I now have to strap my cell phone on my arm to record a run. I wish I had chosen another option.

Looks classy

I previously wore the Garmin Fenix 5S, but now that I'm not actively doing triathlons or marathons, I wanted something a little smaller and something that looked more like a standard watch.
I absolutely love the appearance of this watch. It looks very classy and feels a lot lighter than the Fenix 5S. I'm still getting used to the features this watch has. It doesn't have side buttons like the Fenix did. I do like that it has Google pay, although I haven't set it up yet. One thing to note is that the watch hands move when you get a notification, so that it's easier to read. The battery life is about 5 days. The one thing I don't care for on thus watch is that it has the clip charger. I'd like to see Garmin do away with this style of charger. I don't like how flimsy it feels and that it partially clamps to the watch face. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this watch.

This watch is very nice with an easy to read display and touchscreen features on an analog display! I love how the hands move out of the way when message notifications come through!

Beautiful watch

I haven't worn a watch in over 20 years, decided to purchase a smart watch for all the features they provide. After a great deal of research of various brands I chose Garmin and I am very glad I did. The watch is not only beautiful but very functional for my lifestyle. I am considering buying another one in a more rugged style.

Beautiful, but not perfect

I love how the vivomove Trend looks, but it does not register stairs climbed (my primary form of cardio) accurately (or at all, sometimes). I also wish I could manually enter my activities; the vivomove Trend does not recognize my cycling or weight-lifting. It is frustrating to have a very active day but not be given "credit" for it by my watch!
