I’ve been using the Goal Zero Venture 75 for a while now and overall I’m really impressed with it.
What I love
The ruggedness and overall feel are excellent. The protective rubber sleeve and solid build give it a tough, premium outdoor-ready quality that most regular power banks just don’t have. It feels like something you can actually throw in a pack, leave in the car, or take camping without babying it. The IP67 rating (dustproof and waterproof) adds real peace of mind.

The size-to-power ratio is also strong. At roughly 19,200 mAh / 71 Wh, it packs solid capacity into a relatively compact and portable form factor. It recharges itself quickly (around 1.5 hours with a good 60W USB-C PD charger) and has enough juice for multiple phone charges or a mix of devices.
The two USB-A ports are handy, and the built-in flashlight is a nice bonus for emergency or outdoor use.

The one real drawback
The biggest (and pretty much only major) complaint is the single USB-C port.
Because that one USB-C port is used for both input and high-speed output, you can’t simultaneously charge the Venture 75 and charge a modern phone (or other USB-C device) at full speed with dual USB-C cables. You’re forced to choose: either charge the power bank or use the USB-C port to charge your phone. Using one of the USB-A ports for the phone works, but you lose the fast-charging speeds most phones now expect from USB-C.

If you value durability, outdoor toughness, and solid capacity in a well-built package, the Venture 75 is a strong choice. The ruggedness and feel alone make it stand out. Just be aware that the single USB-C port is a genuine usability compromise if you rely heavily on simultaneous USB-C charging.
Would still recommend it for camping, travel, or anyone who prioritizes toughness over maximum port flexibility.

Love the power bank, skip the solar panel

Got the Venture 75 a couple of weeks ago and we're very happy with it. We bought a 45W wall charger and it does charge in two hours, as indicated. It really is good for charging a tablet, multiple phones, etc.
We ordered a Nomad 20 solar panel, thinking that would recharge the power bank in 7-14 hours, as described. Nope. After 10 hours, it wasn't even one-quarter full, so think about whether you'd just be better off getting multiple power banks you can charge when you have access to a wall outlet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First long term use using the Sherpa 75 on a trip. It powered my iPad and kept my phone charged for the 5 hour flight from Honolulu to San Francisco, during the 4.5 hour lay over and finally on the 10 hour flight from San Francisco to London. No glitches whatsoever, no problems getting it past the airlines check in or TSA screening! Amazing power bank!

An und für sich eine großartige Powerbank, die mit ein paar netten Features aufwartet: Integrierte Taschenlampe, stabiles Aluminium - Gehäuse, Ladestandsanzeige und ein vergleichsweise kompaktes Design sind top.
Es gibt jedoch ein riesengroßes Aber: Die Silikonabdeckung für die Ladebuchsen ist eine Katastrophe! Das Auffummeln mal beiseite gelassen befindet sich hier ab Werk eine Sollbruchstelle: Die Abdeckung reißt bei minimaler Überlastung und dann muss man die Abdeckung peinlichst im Auge behalten um sie nicht zu verlieren, sonst reicht ein wenig Feuchtigkeit und es kommt zum Kurzschluss! Hier war der Vorgänger deutlich besser. Goal.Zero muss hier dringend nachbessern!

Rugged build, plenty of real power and lots of voltage outputs.
Im using it on a daily basis, charging my phone, tablet even my X1 lenovo thinkpad.

Bought the Venture 75 a couple of years ago during a scout jamboree. I have used it with my Nomad 20 panel on every hike, camp and outing ever since. Love it! Keeps me and my two children up to date with flashlights, stringlights and ocasional mobile phones and handheld GPS.
