I own the original ventures and this updated version is not good. The USB ports were bent internally making it very difficult to to attach a USB cable. The door cover is flimsy. The battery/ light button is so recessed it’s almost impossible to depress. Poor quality control. Avoid this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

High Quality Power Bank

I have been buying Goal Zero Flips for years and eventually decided to get the Venture 35.
Quality is really good, it is rugged, well-designed, and it charges as advertised.
My only complaint, if any, is the plastic cover: I have no issues so far but it does give the impression of being flimsy. Only time will tell if it will last but maybe Goal Zero should design a more rugged cover for the next Venture update.
Also it would be nice to see a more compact Venture 15 with 5000 mAh, with only one USB-A and one USB-C port. It would make a great rugged and compact power bank.

Bought this 1 yr 7 months ago, and use it at random intermittently in addition to camping trips and hiking. It no longer charges to halfway, no matter how long it is plugged in for (and def not with our solar panel.) I bought it while in the middle of a two month camping trip, so don’t have the receipt, so no honoring the two year warranty here.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small size, big battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venture 35 is a great battery back. It has two USB A plugs and one USB C that is used to charge the battery as well as for output. It feels good in the hand and can ask one used as a flashlight. In fact it’s a great flashlight with a bright beam that covers a large area. So far it’s been great to throw in a backpack and know I can keep my devices charged no matter what comes up. The Venture 35 charges efficiently and quickly. I would definitely recommend it.

I appreciate that it has a light source for times that I do not have my phone or flashlight. it is a bit on the heavier side, so I am not a fan of charging while holding it in my purse. This is definitely not something I would put in a pocket either, even though it may fit. Works great and has quite a bit of power after charging my phone (so far)

Portable, Rugged, and Reliable Outdoor Power Bank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venture 35 Power Bank is a rugged, durable, ultra-portable power bank that’s perfect for on the go. It’s an essential piece of equipment if you enjoy the great outdoors but need small backup power source.
Its worry free as it’s IP67 rated which means it’s well protected from water, dust, and other debris. It’s also wrapped in a protective rubber sleeve which not only makes it slip resistant, but also helps to protect from bumps and drops. There is also a protective cover for the ports when not in use that clearly labels the outputs.
Since this is designed for outdoors, it also includes a small integrated flashlight and while it works fine, I do wish it was brighter. As for the charging ports, I’m glad that it includes an in/out USB C port which means it will charge up faster and/or provide fast charging to your devices.
I also like that this power bank can be changed with solar panels. Ultimately this is a great option for a small portable power bank for both indoor and outdoor uses. I was able to get more than two full charges on my phone which is excellent for such a small battery pack. So, if you’re in the market for a reliable outdoor power bank, Venture’s got you covered!

Great battery bank!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this handy power bank, you can charge it 3 hours with the USB-C or 6 hours in the sun. It has enough storage to charge my phone about 5 times. It also has a flash light, battery indicator on and off. I like that it is waterproof. Great product!
