I’ve had this light for a couple of weeks now and used it a very few time, it works perfect as a flash or floodlight and the main lamp lights up a room. I have not tried powering it with the solar panel, so I don’t know if that actually works. But overall the quality is great.

Nice features for any travel in the outback

I have bought my second Torch 500 and for any travel especially backcountry I wouldn’t be without it. Daylight just lay it in direct sunlight to charge.

Good idea, poor execution

Bought it a few years ago. Decent light, great idea but whatever rubber / plastic they use for the frame has become so sticky with time that it is not even worth trying to use.

I own an original model of this light - which is STILL GOING STRONG, btw. Decided to buy a new one as a gift for a family member who loves ours. So far, seems like the same high quality product, in a more SLEEK, LIGHTER version. I appreciate the slightly smaller size, the. Might need to buy another new one for myself.
