The best laptop I have ever owned.

This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned. Everything about design, build quality, speed, and how quiet it is - it is all 5 stars for me. I have owned many of high performance laptops, this one takes the cake. I hope they continue designing updated models just like this one and I will continue buying them.

Amazing laptop by Samsung!

This laptop is a beast! It can handle just about anything you throw at it. With 14 cores and 20 processors it is great for most tasks. Using it for gameplay is great as well with a nice 120ghz refresh rate on the screen. Battery life is anywhere from 5+1/2 hours to 7 hours with normal use. This is a premium laptop and looks and feels great to type with. I love that I can use my Samsung phone alongside this laptop with my other Samsung products. Using the PhoneLink feature is amazing as I can text or use my social sites directly with that so when I am working I don't miss anything and I can actually use all of the apps built into my phone with that or with Samsung Dex. Samsung has done a great thing with this laptop. The fan noise is also not a problem and is significantly less noisy than most laptops with normal use. Overall I gave a 4/5 stars as this is a near perfect laptop but I wish the batter would last a little longer but even with that it is still worth it to me and it is my daily use laptop.

Overall, I really love this laptop!

Highlights:
-Lightweight
-Nice overall
-Build quality is pretty good
-It gets pretty bright
-Ports are divorce and very welcome until we transfer entirely to USB C
-I was concerned the screen wiggle would bother me but honestly haven't even noticed, so that was nice
-SIZE! I came from a 12 in Surface, and that extra space is drastically better and makes all the difference for productivity. Same with keypad
Pain points:
-Fingerprint magnet (esp screen)!
-Bezels and keyboard are black, which isn't a deal breaker per se, but it does take away from the aesthetic
-Screen is super glossy
-Sensor is fingerprint not face. Which isn't bad, but I missed it
-Metal chassis is FREEZING in colder weather. If you need/want to work outside in slightly cooler temps, this laptop is not comfortable to use at least initially
-Weirdly, they decided to put the trackpad off center to the left
-Build quality: there was one issue a couple months in where the hinge and screen parted ways ever so slightly, when no one was near it and my kids weren't around. But Samsung was gracious and replaced it for free.
-Would have liked to have an integrated S Pen like one of the earlier Samsung laptops I had but not a deal breaker as it still works with the included S Pen. That it is included was nice too.
-Would have liked to see at least 1 more USB C port but everyone seems to be going minimalist nowadays.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laptop doesn't last

It's been a great laptop for a little over a year. Very user friendly and I was happy with the performance. Unfortunately, after about a year, the buttons started wearing out.
First, the right 'Shift' button wore out, then the 'Enter' button and now, the left 'Shift' button is also wearing out. You have to hit several times and with some effort to get them to work. My laptop is less than 3 years old and I'm looking at replacing it :(
This was not a great investment
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
