Looks great, fits perfectly, needs work on tie down brackets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cooktop to replace a very old one where replacementvparts are no longer available. The cooktop, as stated, fit perfectly in the existing opening. It also looks really great. I appreciated the small bottlebif ceramic glass cleaner packaged with thebunit. Installation was simple with the exception of the tie down brackets. Firstly, the screws provided to attach the brackets to the counter under-material were a specialty screw (not slotted, Phillips, or square drive, so I replaced with pan-head d6 woodscrews. Second, the screws to attach the bracket to the underside of the unit are far too short with heads smaller than the slot in the bracket. Longer screws and washers are required. More importantly, there is absolutely no tolerance in the holes on the underside of the cooktop (I tried dry fittingbthe screws into the holes before final installation and it was barely possible. Bottom line, this part of the installation was a flop. It's not a huge deal, but an untied-down unit can shift especially if your opening is on the larger side.

Love My New Cooktop!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from an electric coil top to this glass-topped beauty, and let me tell you - it's beautiful and it delivers!! I made dinner on it last night and had pasta water boiling in significantly less time than my previous cooktop. The burners heat evenly and quickly, and the backlit knobs are super handy as I have kids. They light up when the burner is turned on, and stay lit until the cooktop is cool. All in all, I am super excited to have made this upgrade, and I look forward to cooking on it for years to come.
