This is my second Lenovo ThinkPad, and it is amazing. I previously purchased the extended warranties and when I needed to use them, they were EXACTLY what they said they were. The only reason I'm replacing now is because I can't extend the warranty on my current laptop any further.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good workstation laptop. We have similar spec'd P15's, and this one seems to work a little better than them. Thicker and heavier than other models, but needed for graphics card and processor. Screen flickers when being unplugged or plugged in. Battery life is not great with power requirements. Fans are fairly loud to keep it cool under heavier workloads. No ethernet port. The most surprising observation was that the 230W power supply can't provide enough power to keep it charged under heavy workloads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered my P16 as soon as it was announced, so I assume I got one of the early production models. This is my 3rd Thinkpad.
It is a fast machine, and the keyboard, screen, and overall construction are very good. However, it seems like there are some issues that haven't been sorted out. For starters, it gets surprisingly warm while it is asleep. In fact, it feels like the laptop warms up while it is asleep with the lid closed, and then cools off after it awakens and the fans can turn on. It generates enough heat while asleep that I would be reluctant to store it in a bag or backpack unless it was turned completely off. I always leave it plugged in, so I can't say if this "hot sleep" drains the battery.
The Lenovo Vantage software indicates everything is ok, and I've upgraded the bios twice and made sure Windows was up-to-date. The recent bios upgrades have improved the temperature issue, so I have a feeling Lenovo is working on this, but apparently they introduced new problems. Since the 2nd bios update the machine will blue screen 100% of the time with a Video Scheduler Internal Error when Forza Horizon starts up. I hadn't seen a BSOD in years!
