My last laptop was a Thinkpad X300 purchased in 2008. CNET described it as “Extremely thin and light, sleekest Thinkpad yet”. That laptop cost $3k. My new X1 Nano is so much better in every way. Yes 13 years is a long time but it’s still amazing how much progress has been made.
It’s not perfect. The webcam quality is poor and there are no usb-a ports. But those are understandable trade offs given the laptops weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's lightweight and fast as long as you don't expect to use an external monitor. When I connect to an external monitor, everything slows down. Programs like Zoom and SnagIt barely function. I'm disappointed that such an expensive laptop can't handle one external monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad is slim and light and does the job quickly and effectively. Always happy to work on this laptop.
great laptop however battary life is not too great , 2 thunderbolt 4 is not enough, so docking is needed, yet the thounderbolt 4 dock from lenovo is not release yet. now we have to wait for its release, which is sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working remotely I needed something both powerful and light, the X1 Nano delivers that in spades. Paired with a thunderbolt dock I can use 3 external screens with a total of 4, making it a formidable machine on the desk, but so light that I can barely tell it's in my backpack when I have to go mobile. All in all, a great machine and deal for the money.
