[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has worked very well for me. It is fast, has enough SSD and a good development machine. Very much like the availability of the pointing stick and mouse pad, which separates it from many comparable laptops. Turning the mouse pad off takes a BIOS change, but it is not clear if this is a Windows or Lenovo issue.

T14 for years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an old MacBok pro and run Bootcamp on it for work. As it is aging, I decided to look for a work machine that I can use for some time to come. Had go be more memory (32Gb) reasonably light, and good value. I still use old extensions of HDMI etc. The T14 seems to be the right choice. I even have a jack for the old headset (I still like those) if I need. Initially I was worried of the battery warming but then I played with Lenovo Vantage and now it is quiet and barely purring. The trackpad is big and smooth, easy to use. I use the fingerprint reader more than I had thought I would. Slim, light, fast. the 2 USB is ports are exactly what I need but I have a Thunderbolt extension (that actually serves as a mini-dock) I can use. I am very happy. I hope you ask me again on this in a year. Or 5.

Crashes and doesn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use for Nursing school and it worked great for the first month. Now I can't even use the device. Apps will freeze and crash or have to be forced closed. It gets incredibly hot when this happens. It has gotten so bad I can't use the device at all. I bought and paid for the best service option there is and can't get through to anyone to help. I finally got a hold of someone, and they told me to restart and press F10 to run some scan. The computer does absolutely nothing when you try this. I am very disappointed I spent $2000 on a new computer and it's worthless in the first 3 months of use. This is my 3rd Lenovo computer and I have never had a bad experience until recently. I completely regret going Lenovo at this point in time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
