Very difficult to use for multi-state filers.

I've used TurboTax for years, but I have to say that the desktop version is VERY un-user friendly. I run a small business that does business in multiple states, and Intuit doesn't have a do-it-yourself product online for these situations. You have to use the desktop version. It's clunky and will just refer you to a form when there's an issue. Honestly, I had to read IRS publications and do a lot of work for something that should be simple.
I will say that the service reps I dealt with were quite nice, but overall, just to get a very simple return filed, I spent over THREE (that's right three) hours on the phone. It was overall a bad experience and I will probably use a different service next year.

It's March 4 and I still cannot efile my NYS return.
I've spent hours on the phone with well meaning customer service representatives.
The latest "promise" was that the system would be ready to file my NYS forms by 3/3. The filing must be done electronically and by March 15.

Turbo tax good but as NYS Efile not available yet?

Turbo tax Business 2022 good but as of 3/4/23 I and many other people are not able to efile their state? In my case this is for NY though I was able to Efile the federal.
My second challenge is when entering property expense detail I'm not easily able to see the total expense.
My third point is the balance sheet entry is very cumbersome as it does not show both assets and liability on same form in a simple to see.

Simple trust return prepared in Turbo Tax Business

This was a very simple return, but there were some confusing things where TT put a number in an odd place on 1041 SCH B, lines under distributable net income, and also on SCH D, Part III = it entered teh same number in column 1 and 2. IF you know what the return should say, it was easy to over-ride.

Decent, but still missing QBO download

TurboTax is a relatively painless way to complete simple business taxes, but I'm still amazed that it can't connect to QuickBooks OnLine.

You can't download your information from Online Quickbooks. Business tax product isn't as helpful in filling out the forms as the online product is. I was disappointed.
