Great program at a reasonable cost

As a long-term user, the advantage of carrying forward all that tax history is a major reason to stay with T/T. Some of the help references are no longer as detailed or targeted as in the past. A reference to a law is seldom sufficient without plenty of further investigation. I usually find the more specific details I needed on the community forum.

i only do a couple each of LLCs, partnerships and sub s yearly and helps me avoid mistakes

Need Mac version

I had to download a trial version of QB Enterprise and install it on a Windows machine just to get my QB data into TurboTax for Business. There should be a Mac version of TurboTax for Business.

Good with a few glitches

I've used TurboTax Business for 5 years now. The step-by-step process generally works well. This year there was a problem entering info for our second partner. TT sent me in a loop, claiming I was changing the ownership of our partnership by "adding" another partner. I called the help line, and after a very brief go-around with a bot, I was connected with one of the most helpful and patient agents I've ever worked with. She tried numerous work-arounds and ended up going to get help herself. Whatever she did behind the scenes fixed the problem. The help staff are 100% awesome and I didn't experience long wait times to get through to them.

TurboTax Pro for Business's and Trusts

From what I understand, the software considers anyone receiving income a beneficiary. Do not go by the trust definition of what a beneficiary is. (Someone who is not a beneficiary, a skipped generation, may receive income during his or her lifetime.)
After the return was checked by the software, more errors were found when I went to print the return. These errors required me to provide explanations for line items on the return. I had no idea how the software provided the information on these line items. If an entry requires explanation, the software should provide this.

A lot of descriptions are still not clear

It is okay to use it because I used it for many years. But, still there are a lot of descriptions not clear. It is hard to use TurboTax for Business. Intuit wants to save money. They do not want to put in their efforts (money) to make it better. They have a long way to go compared to Apple's iPhone.
