Filing a Virginia return.

I had a problem last year and it continued this year. if the company is only doing business in Virginia, it seems that Form 502A is not necessary. Yet, unless I specifically delete the form, I cannot E-file the return. Fortunately, I remembered the problem from last year. I would think that your could fix this.

Good program, easy to use. Unfortunately, the system kept issuing an error saying "a distribution was entered" when NOTHING was entered and nothing shows on the line listed.

TurboTax Business still lacks polish

If you're going to use TurboTax Business, be sure to take good notes on how you solve all the problems you'll run into while using the product (some of which are due to bugs or lack of good documentation in TurboTax Business). I have a Google doc that is 30+ pages long full of notes that guides me through the process of preparing my S-Corp taxes each year. Without my own notes, it would take several days to prepare taxes with TurboTax each year. The software isn't great, but I've learned to work through the flaws.

turbo tax needs some improvement on 1120s forms

I had some problems with the new 7203 form and I would like it to have more detailed explanation on how to fill the form out It was a struggle to get it done this year but I managed. It took quite a while. better explanation would have saved me some time

We use Quickbooks online, and I there is no way to import into TurboTax Business (download), so I have to manually readjust the buckets and ensure they tie out. There should be an easy way to import that data...

TurboTax Business - Room for Improvement

TurboTax Business is generally a good product, but if you're inexperienced at Business taxes (as we are), you should always "take the long way home" when navigating the software. Otherwise, you may miss necessary details. Also (and this is by far the biggest negative), when we tried to e-file for the State in which we do business (and e-filing is a requirement for this State), TurboTax could not handle the e-filing requirement, so we're going to file by mail and hope for the best. VERY frustrating.
