Need online file and/or more compatibility options

Have to borrow someone's PC every year because there is no option for TurboTax Business to file online and the software isn't compatible with Mac.

The Federal programs are great. Have problems with State programs being delayed or needing corrections to programs done more efficiently.

TurboTax Business-Trusts, Partnerships

Easy to use, when flipping between Interview and Forms. Double checking where my entries are entered for accuracy. The online E-file of 1099 Forms is a real bonus time saver. I have 25+ years of commercial tax prep and have used other tax prep software. Have settled on TurboTax for family returns.

Not very useful as there is no version for Mac OS. Time for Intuit to move into the 21st century.
No place for obvious entry of mileage usage (cents per mile) for vehicle usage. Only shows leased or designated business vehicle.

Appreciate the software but flaws are annoying

Wish for improved support for reporting Partner's Capital Accounts for small business (when balance sheet isn't required). If you choose to generate, must do all the balance sheet stuff - or flags as error. If not generated, all must be entered as override. For some reason, WI 3-K1 doesn't populate current year increase/decrease and has a flawed source (part 2 question F of Fed K-1 which is a name/addr field). Also at end of preparation, asks if LLC is required to file forms 720, 940, 941, 943, 944, 945, 990 or 1042 without providing ANY info about them.

Would be great to have product just for trusts

This is helpful and makes doing a trust return simpler, but having to pay for all of the business applications makes it much more expensive. It would be nice if Turbo Tax had a product just for trusts that could be less expensive.

Guided entry fails when you stop doing business

I have used Turbotax Business for three years of the vacation condo rental activity of the LLC I am a member of (three members). In 2022 we stopped doing business, generated no rental income, had no rental activity, and deregistered the LLC as a foreign corporation. However, the LLC continued to own the condo as an easy partnership vehicle for two families. The business use of the property was zero percent. Turbotax was unable to deal with this situation - it required a disposition of the property, produced errors because of the zero business use, and would not allow electronic filing. I had to use forms, and run them past a CPA. The program needs improvement for this situation.
