I'm still getting to know Turbo Tax. Had to purchase the Business version for a pretty simple trust return, and it was fairly straightforward. Two things bugged me though. One was that on form 1116, the system populated all the numbers in col B instead of A and I had work through a series of "errors" caused by this before I could file. Second, the trust had a pass-through IRA distribution, but there was nowhere that I could tie that distribution to the incoming 1099-R; as a result, Turbotax allocated the distribution among all income sources, which is not what I wanted to be reflected.

The best way to deal with a hopeless government

I have a small consulting company incorporated under subchapter S. My accounts are quite simple but the Federal and California tax filings are ridiculously complicated. TurboTax gets through the mess efficiently and apparently accurately. At least no one has questioned my filings or demanded an audit (knock on wood).

Easy solution for small firms

Like the simplicity of the product and the confidence, it gives me about my tax filing. Two wishes I have - 1) that it had an online version without PC installation needed and 2) it would read from my Quickbooks Online.

TurboxTax Business - Recurring Bug

TT does a poor job supporting their loyal customers. It took me 2 days to clear in error when trying to e-file Virginia 502 Form.
I had to go in step-by-step mode and scratch my heads a few times. Same bug people experienced since 2020. I am planning to switch to another provider next year

Great software for filing business taxes!!

TurboTax for Business is excellent. The software is easy to use and walks the user through all aspects of their business filing. I have used the software for several years and it always helps me to complete our business tax filing on time.

The online version was too buggy

Very poor, really. The online version is very buggy. It has been very difficult to reach a CPA and the product experts don't have the knowledge to provide product support either. Now they have asked me to use the Desktop version for individual taxes too.
