TurboTax is getting better

It went better this year with Turbo Tax Business since I had saved the work-around solution form last year (2021) to be able to efile my Virgina return when it was stuck in loop.
Virginia State Return in loop: "We Need to Make One More Check."
TurboTax should have corrected this since it is a known issue.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using TT for Business since 2008 for various entities. I have an Accounting and tax background. So when the Trust had sold all rental properties, distributed all assets and was submitting the final 1041, I was confident TT would breeze me through the 2022 tax season. When I entered everything in mid-Jan and prepared to file electronically, TT informed me I had to wait because the IRS wasn't ready to receive. At that time, it said nothing about the Trust owing the IRS. A couple of weeks later, I updated the software, corrected the property tax figures previously entered and prepared to file electronically. At that point, TT informed me the Trust owed $2600 in taxes. Digging into to that, I discovered TT was suggesting the Trust had distributed to beneficiaries about $2600 more than was possible. I spent the next 4 weekends attempting to understand what I did wrong. What I found was TT had incorrectly populated Form 8582 and Form 4797, and by extension, Sch D, E, and Form 1041.
My failure was in assuming TT was fixing errors and recalculating existing forms upon releasing an update and me opening the existing file. Ultimately, to correct the problem I started a new file, imported the *.Tax2021 file and entered exactly the same entries as on the first 2022 attempt (I saved the original PDF so I could confirm this). The result corrected ALL issues. TT suggested the Trust could distribute exactly what I actually distributed to beneficiaries. And it now indicates the Trust does not owe the IRS.

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years and this year was the first that I encountered a problem in activating the TurboTax Desktop Business Tax Year 2022. Although my initial contact with Customer Service did not result in a solution, a follow-up call that lasted 2 hours and 32 minutes solved my issue. Her dedication to finding a solution to my problem was admirable as she hung in there up to the end to make sure I was satisfied with the solution.

I would suggest having a way to add statements to the return.
Also, it would be easier to enter rental information if you structured it like the Sch E. I felt like I was hunting to put the data where it should go.
I had a hard time finding the built in gain section. Once I did I couldn't find the 2nd partner for about 45 minutes. I realized later I just had to scroll to the 2nd partner. That was a bit confusing because the program had a scroll and the form had a separate scroll. A button going to the second partner would have been easier.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

you need to include more screens telling me im almost done with my taxes. seriously though, why do i have to purchase my state return separately from my federal return and enter all of my information twice?? this should be a check box on the initial purchase. also it seems like there is a lack of explanation on some items that need it. i had to look stuff up on google several times.
