Better than nothing

Used Turbo Tax Business for a family trust. As long as you don't have questions it works ok, but if you don't understand something, it can take hours of research to figure out what to do. Turbo Tax said I needed Form IRC 172(b)(3), but it didn't tell me how to find it, and none of what I found in the forums was accurate in terms of where to look in my version of the software. I finally found it on a poorly labeled page with a collection of check box items. The error checking at the end is even worse. It basically says: "something is wrong, fix it". I just gave up and submitted my form, and I'll let the IRS tell me what was wrong.

It would be better if I can import from online

This product is consistently great. I know TurboTax makes it easy on me each year. it would be even better if I could import my year reports from the online service instead of hand inputting them every time.

TurboTax Business is ideal for simple business's

Great for small business without lot of complications. For example, we have a loan from a partner which needs to files as a non-recourse debt and TurboTax doesn't do that automatically. I had to do lot of research and manually make the adjustment in the return.

1041 for trusts could be improved

I use it for Trust 1041 return. This should be separated from Turbo tax business.
It does not provide the easy download feature provided in turbo tax 1040 for connecting to brokerage accounts.
Also feature for allocating estimated taxes to beneficiaries should be easier to use by completing necessary sections automatically - 1041-T.

Bugs in State Return

PLEASE allow to Download Brokerage SALES

Please allow like you do for your personal software, business return software to upload sales directly from brokerages and banks. When you have alot of transactions it is very hard to put them all in. Need to be able to download them
