A trusted software for years now!

I have been using Turbotax for decades now. It has worked perfectly for me! Very well-worded, the explanations at various locations of the program are clear and always save me time from research and googling the tax code in order for me to understand and answer my own questions! Keep up the great work!

Could be better for Form 1065

Once again TT has not included Schedules K-2 and K-3 for Form 1065. For 2021 the IRS did not make these mandatory, but for 2022 they are if the partnership paid/accrued foreign taxes more than $400. I had to download the forms from the IRS and complete them manually. Then I had to attach them for the Form 1065--which meant that I had to print and file the 1065 by mail. I think TT cost too much, considering how much I had to do manually myself.

Turbo Tax Things to know

The business version is good for doing trusts. However, turbo tax uses the same extensions for regular taxes so if you have both regular income tax program and the business version, it seems to always want to start the business version. It would be nice if the files had different extensions. I wish Intuit would change this.

The "help" section needs work. The system finding errors is not clear as to why or alternate ways to change answers.

same frustration with turbotax personal. question parts are easy, but no way to ask question. i needed to figure out how to take distribution exemption. Took an hour of trial and error. nobody to ask. no instructions, obvious ploy to frustrate people into paying for assisted return

I have a very simple LLC, so did not want to spend hundreds to have someone else file my taxes. TurboTax made it so simple, only took an hour or so!
