Great as always, except one thing.

Everything went well until I printed the state forms for our LLC to mail. There was no instruction page with the address to mail it to like there normally is. I also searched for it in turbo tax but found nothing.

I have a very small consulting firm where my total income for the year is always under $10,000. TurboTax is relatively easy for a non-accounting type person to navigate the minefield of filing one's own tax return & issuing the K1 forms.

Still can't import QuickBooks Online into TurboTax

See title. It's 2023 and you still can't import QuickBooks Online into TurboTax Business which is absolutely insane. This has been a problem since at least 2019 that I know of but it's probably been even longer than that. The VP of Product at Intuit needs to be fired for this. How can you not have your own products integrate with each other?

Program is sold before it is functional. It's never clear when things ARE functional and results can be relied upon. Interview doesn't take you to every place you need to go. Making manual corrections to program errors seems necessary, but worrisome. Neither interview nor forms provide a useful search feature. Support/Help pointers take you to "community" answers for individual/1040 products, not the business/trust 1041 products. No state product is available for Oregon. Cursing is only slightly more help than Intuit support, and IRS instructions are usually impossible to figure out if you have not been manually filling the forms from the git-go. I haven't tried the competition, but this is not an impressive product.

Fix Virginia State tax filing loop!!

Generally works great:
Two things: 1) On 1120 form can actual payroll (gross salaries) and payroll expenses be split out appropriately? Currently all appears as lump sum payroll. 2) Fix the Virginia State tax filing loop (will not submit, but does not show errors). Support group shows that this has been going on since 2020 and there is a manual workaround involving deletion of the 502A form

For most tax situations, TurboTax does a great job of covering your needs. I'm a self-employed software consultant with a mortgage, bank interest, investment accounts, and other complexities, but I feel confident doing my taxes myself with TurboTax. TurboTax can be expensive, but you get what you pay for...
