Quickbooks doesn't talk well with TurboTax

We pulled tax information out of Desktop QB and inserted directly into Turbo Tax. These are products from the same company but they really don't integrate from well. For example, TurboTax was asking us to Catergorize certain expense into an entirely different category that we really didn't know if it was the right one. Confusing. Also, Turbo Tax wouldnt allow us to add an extra worksheet to our return that the IRS was requiring. Why not?

TurboTax was a B-, but my Tax Assistant was A+!

It is not as user friendly as I originally thought it would be, however, my tax filer assistant that I got was AMAZING and helped walk me through the process so that I could understand what the product was asking me for.

Inflexible Software; For Simple Situations Only

Filing for a new company which had an initial short tax year beginning in 2022: The first full fiscal year also began in 2022. Program would neither allow input of former year info to new year, nor would it permit an e-file for the new year. Nor does the program allow for the capitalization of production costs and intangible assets. It only seems to address very simple company operations.
