For the most part Turbo Tax was more than satisfactory. When it came to filing, the procedures were less than straight forward. I especially dislike the attempt to forcer, or trick me into subscribing to Adobe Acrobat

Turbo Tax is great

I love using Turbo Tax. It is user friendly and easy to follow. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the bug in the Virginia state tax return. Two years in a row now I have had to create a fake form and delete it in order to get out of the endless review loop when trying to file the Virginia return. Other than that, things were great.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Terrible for using with Quickbooks Online.

This software does not connect nor transfer data from QuickBooks online. Only allows me to do so if using the desktop version and Intuit does not offer the desktop version anymore. Rocket science at its best.

data input needs work

The integration of the investments module to put in stock/bond/.. purchase/sale is repetitive. I wish there was a way to just read in a *.csv file wth all the data in a predetermined format. or if it could be input in table format into the tool directly. would save a lot of time

Difficult transition from CPA-level tax software

I was filing 1041 trust return and had a tough time trying to get all my prior year information and forms to replicate in TurboTax, will see if e-file is accepted, that was the last challenge.
