Turbotax is the only choice to use!

Used ttax for years. Wouldn't do my taxes any other way but outsourcing. The only gripe is at the state review stage the software holds up the e-file due to a "you must check one of these boxes on a schedule" error. But, none of the choices apply. So, you can't check a box but you still get the error. So, the only fix is to go online and see what the practical fix is. It's to delete the n/a form that the schedule is on. That works every year (and I forget every year), but that seems like something that could be fixed. I can see I'm not the only one running into it. It's schedule 502A for a Virginia Partnership.

EFILE OPTION NEEDED FOR EXTENSION FORM

The product is good overall, however it would be beneficial if Turbo Tax Business allowed filing the extension form electronically. It makes reasonable sense that this would be an option included with the product. As numerous years I have mailed the extension and received a letter after E-Filing the return that they did not receive the extension although they did via USPS mail. This adds more time and work communicating with the IRS to have the penalty fee removed.

My only complaint about using Turbo Tax Business is that it isn't compatible with MAC/Apple products.

Fix issues with Farm assets (disposition)

The software would not allow me to dispose of farm assets through the step-by-step interview. If I clicked on "continue" to go to the farm assets list, it wouldn't do anything. So I had to manually do it in the forms after searching the internet for a solution. It also had 134 error messages all associated with my assets and the special depreciation election (on assets from prior years.) I've never electedto take the special depreciation. It just created a lot more stress and took a lot longer than it should have.
