Software has some missing features & some bugs

1. No place to record Foreign Tax Credit
2. Even though 1099-B Received & Basis Reported to IRS was checked, ST & LT Capital Gain / Loss was reported incorrectly under Box C instead of Box A, and under Box F instead of Box D
3. Spent a LOT of time trying to correct this using Override, but then TT did not let me e-file. So, spent even more time Cancelling the Overrides
None of this is good for such an expensive package

Passable but problematic

I have used your product for many years, but there are problems. In the1120S the OTHER DEDUCTIONS break out does not reliably transfer from the Fed to the State, particularly for line 19 "Other Expenses". Also if you generated that data in Step-by-Step View it does not reliably transfer when you look at it from File View. Also on the 1040 Schedule E the list of deductions does not flow accurately from the Federal to the State, specifically for Line 18 "Other Deductions'. Also On schedule E on both the Federal and State Line 20 is to be the simple summation of the lines 5 to 19. The summations are wrong and I have to overwrite them. I am hoping my comments will help you address these aggravations for me.

TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD

Great program and easy to use. If, a) you can find the product to download it after the purchase and b) it did not close on you every time it does an update, which is often. 50/50 on whether you can get support over the telephone but if you get someone the service is usually excellent

Turbo tax really helps me

I have tried many softwares to do my personal and business tax. I must say that the TurboTax is the most friendly and extreme guided tool.
You can simple answer questions to get a robust and safe tax preparation. Many forms are included and some of them I have never know that exists... mayne neither many accountants...
