This Program Sucks Again

Nothing balances. Information could not be downloaded from Quickbooks online. Quickbooks online reports were totally innaccurate. For the second year in a row, efiling didn't work.

Has bug in the e-filing stage, asking me to fix a worksheet. After I fixed it, and tried to e-file again, it asked for the same thing, and became circular. I want my money back.

Been using it for over 20 years. Only when Intuit got crazy and limited installations and returns was I disappointed. Other than that, its been great and saved me tons of money doing my taxes myself. Never a problem but sometimes have to override as this year it transferred the wriong shareholder percentages.

Easiest way to do taxes as a Small Business Owner

As a small business S-Corp owner, I have often resisted the use of a CPA (officially) for tax preparation although I have help from a CPA (sister) for bookkeeping advice. As a 1 employee business, this software is the perfect fit for my situation.

Turbo Tax is great, as usual !

I have used Turbo Tax for years both on individual and partnership federal tax returns. This year they have added help on completing the Foreign Tax Credit portion of a partnership return (K-3). While I did not need to talk to a support person this year, their tax specialist have always been able to answer my questions. I totally recommend using Turbo Tax.

Confusing instructions and NO SUPPORT!

Turbo Tax Business desktop is a total disappointment. I could not import information from QB Online, and I can't use TT online because it won't prepare LLC partnership 1065. Intuit products should be able to communicate across the board. Error messages are vague, with no instruction or suggestions on what or where to fix. And the kicker? If I wanted customer support, it would cost me an additional $725 to speak to a business tax expert. I paid for TT, I pay for QB online, what a ripoff!
