i was sold a fake cd download and never recerived my refund altough i file complaint and mailedc the label and product back. i have tax debt and issues arising from bring misled and misinformed by turbo tax

Installment sale forms 6252

i was unable to complete forms 6252 during the interview process for prior year sales. i had to go to the forms and fill them out manually. not happy about that.

Cannot connect download version to online version

It's a pretty major failure that I cannot import my download version of my return to the online portal - I no longer have a PC so TurboTax Business Online is a necessity. But I can't import my previous return with all the partner info, etc. ANNNNDDD I can't import my 8949 stock trades - I have to just summarize the data, which is a pretty sizeable failure too.

2022 Catch Up

Used TurboTax for individual tax return that included an extension and was a value added experience. Also used TurboTax for Estate tax return with an extension. The Estate return was not as clearly explained as the individual return and therefore took longer than expected.

TurboTax is not perfect, but it is OK

All in all, I'll probably use TurboTax again, mostly because I've used it in the past so I've climbed part of the learning curve. It tries a bit too hard to be conversation and cute with its guidance and dialog, but it isn't as bad this year as some previously. I find it too reliant upon the MicroSoft operating system on a PC to be optimally useful for me. And, I find the trick of dumping one onto TT's home site as the answer to "need help" particularly annoying. But, I'm filing taxes, so I'm probably a bit cranky

prefer consolidation for both personal & business

I've been using Turbo-tax for my personal taxes for quite some time now. I wish turbo tax for business is available as an online version as well and not just a desktop version. One consolidated place for both personal and business taxes create more efficiency.

Does calculations for Knoledgeable Preparer

Turbo Tax Business does the calculations and prepares the forms for a knowledgeable tax preparer. It often asks questions that require extensive knowledge on the part of the preparer. Often there is no help available even to define the acronyms. Sure beats trying to do it on paper though.
