Needs more improvement in State Tax

TurboTax Business for New Jersey State needs some improvement. It is very easy to get into loop and stop responding and you have to kill the process and restart. I got into this issue and spent two days trying to figure out how to work around the issue. Finally I called the tech support and was advised to remove the state return and start over and the problem went away. Thanks to Lisa the tech support.
Also NJ State still does not support BAIT reporting. You need to manually go into forms to enter the number. Hopefully in next version it will be incorporated with NJK-1 populated with the numbers and PTE-K-1 automatically generated.

My experience with Turbo Tax was unbelievable miserable. I could have paid the most costly CPA in the world to do these taxes and that would not even cover the hours I have spend trying to get this done.

Great Program

I am very very reluctant to do y taxes. I normally pay over $1000 each year. However, after COVID it's been difficult to find a good CPA. Using Turbo tax saved me money and I am grateful the service exists.

Detail can seem tedious but success is worth it.

I've used TurboTax for many years and consistently have success. Occasionally, there will be seeming glitches, but they've been due to an entry response error I've made. I bought the business version for my mother's estate after her death but I use the Premier version for to file my wife's and my taxes, we do her brother's taxes and both sons'.

Filing Taxes Sucks - Using Turbotax Helps

TurboTax is much easier to use than the competition. The only unfortunate thing is that certained backwards states will not accept e-filing or printed from Turbotax. However, we will continue to use this and then go file the state elsewhere.

Some frustrating instances

There are some frustrating instances where change(s) are suggested during the return review and the only way to make them is to go back and look for the place to manually enter the change(s), rather than Turbotax providing a link. Then when you want to return from making the change(s) you have to begin the review process again rather than starting where you left off.
