Will never use again

It was confusing as to which Michigan Business I should use. And when I tried to complete the form I finally had to call Support because the software frozen. Finally able to complete and when I returned to complete and e-file it would not return where I left off, so I had to go to the return and repeat steps. And even after making corrections it got caught in a loop and would not recognize my changes and would not let me e-file my Federal return. Just a terrible product.

Easy to Use

First time using this product for as a Trustee for an Irrevocable Trust. Product is user-friendly. Saved me tons of time and money. This was very helpful since trust fund is small and manageable.

Mostly good, but glitches should be fixed!

In 2019, a TurboTax user complained about a glitch which I encountered this year. See https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/form-8889-s-original-is-marked-as-estimated-enter-the-correct-number-then-select-unmark-estimated/00/637409.
i encountered this problem this year by marking my husband's contribution to his HSA as estimated (because he had not yet made it.) When he did make it, I unmarked the entry as estimated. But some hidden entry must have been still marked as estimated, so it became impossible to find and clear. This was super-frustrating because it prevented us from e-filing. In addition, the posted "fix" of deleting entire forms is ridiculous. FIX the software. I finished my taxes from outside of the country, and I entered all of that information before I left.
Why are these problems not yet fixed when it is FOUR years later?

Should be able to import data from QBO

I've used turbotax for years and really like it. HOWEVER, since we switched to using Quickbooks Online (another Intuit product), we are unable to import our data directly into turbotax. This makes no sense to me. Why would a company have two software packages that don't work together?! You have to export all of your data manually and import it into a "Desktop" version of Quickbooks (luckily I own both, but what about the people who don't?) so that you can ultimately import that data into Turbotax. Ridiculous!!! If Intuit doesn't fix this insane problem by next tax season, I will take my Financial software and tax preparation business elsewhere.

Disappointing this year

It was nearly impossible to address the errors that were found during the final check. The feedback was not user friendly and fixing the forms took me back to having the 90's era of complicated computing. I will not be using Turbo tax Business again. It was clear that they wanted to sell the guided option because the instructions were poor at best.

Business Version Too Difficult

For the cost of this product, I thought the prompts would be more helpful and more frequent. I was not able to override some blanks that the program kept telling me to fill in even though they did not apply to my situation. I ended up not being able to file electronically so now I am filing an extension and mailing them in later. VERY disappointed.
