wouldn't let me file my OK state tax return because it kept saying there was an error with it, and there wasn't.......and then it wouldn't let me e-file my IRS tax return separately.

Not as good as it could be

Many tax laws such as "De Minimis Safe Harbor Election" were not clearly explained. I feel like I left money on the table for fear of incorrectly using it.

Turbotax Business is adequate for me. I have been using it for several years. My problem is with income reconciliation. The Turbotax software requires me to reconcile income per books and income per return. The thing is: I have no books. I only have one book where i list expenses--that's it. The software should automatically reconcile the book income with the return income, just as it does wth the retained earnings and the balance sheet. The other parts of the software are good. Please fix this problem to make the customers happy. Thanks.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I had a baby

This is my second year using TurboTax and doing my own taxes. It was even easier than last year, as my previous tax data was imported automatically.

1. Cannot run these two TurboTax products on same computer: TurboTax Business for LLC and TurboTax Home and Business for personal and freelance consulting (1099 not through LLC) 2. Poorly worded questions (e.g., beginning capital balance versus capital balance at beginning of year; the way phrased is ambiguous - what was the member's investment when the company was started? or what was their portion of capital at beginning of the year?) 3. Cyclic review at the end. The software continually requests a second review, even after clicking "Review Again" multiple times. 4. Saving PDF requires you to use the folder where the .tax2022 file is, so why not just force the user to use that folder instead of requesting the user select a folder, only for any folder selected, except the one where the .tax2022 file is, leads to "cannot save file" error. 5. Fails to copy same information. The personal TurboTax copies numbers from one form to the next ... in most cases. With Business, I found I had to write numbers down, because often the software didn't copy the number (e.g., profit from normal operations) or entered the wrong number as I transitioned forms.

Using this for two trust tax submissions, I find it easy to follow most of the instructions. The step by step option helps one take all the typical items into account.
I personally keep running into small issues where the program recognizes that I've entered something in error but there is no clear instruction on how to address the error. A search of the support archives brings up tax law interpretation situations that others have run into but does not bring up any specific details on what the program has caught and where to go back to in the entries to address the issue.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Horrible Integration with QuickBooks.

Horrible integration with QuickBooks. Inaccurate data categorization, causing wrong fields to be transferred. Would have been better and faster to manually complete the forms.
