Better than H&R, but more epensive

Well, who wants to do taxes?? Nobody! This program is easier to use than H&R, but it is substantially more expensive. So you have to take into consideration is how much is your time worth?

Good Overall

I like TurboTax Business and found it relatively quick to use. It would be nice to be able to pay $90 for it though as I think the current $190 is on the high side, and reduce the State filing cost to $20 per state. Many businesses have to watch their expenses and this would help. Thanks.

Dissappointing

Can not electronically sign the 1120S like a docusign and CAN NOT E-file the NC State return which has to be mailed. It will take months to process. Plus the cost and hassle to mail certified return receipt. Was very disappointed in the product.

2022 version slightly improved.

TurboTax is finally improving the integration with QuickBooks. However, the work is still not seamless. For example, TurboTax lumped together the estimated taxes paid therefore causing a manual override to split the total into each quarterly payment.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Not very user friendly

I am not very confident at all when filing my return with Turbotax Business. But unfortunately, I have to in order to file a 1041 for a trust. I have used it three years in a row and it is always the same. Two major annoyances this year. 1) No place to upload an additional document such as a consolidate 1099. In this case, I combined it with my 8453 form which you do have to opportunity to upload. This is what I have done the previous years. It is odd, because TT tells says you can summarize your brokerage activities but then doesn't let you upload the supporting document. 2) Error checking was all good. Then when I submitted it, oops! you made a mistake. Then it told me very cryptically I needed to give a supporting statement about something. It said from line 3b column a. I reviewed everything and couldn't find what this was all about. I made a guess, typed it, and then submitted it. Overall, this Business software that I have to pay for to do this minor tax form, is junk when compared to the Turbotax I use for my personal income.
