2022 TurboTax Business

TurboTax did not provide the software key (confirmation number) after I purchased the PA state module & that key was not available in my Intuit account. Only after spending valuable time calling TurboTax support did I get my software key. Also, TurboTax Business does not accurately compute the PA state PA-65, specifically in the areas of PA source income & cash distributions to partners.

Turbotax hasn't changed much over the years which is both good and bad. You learn how to use it and you get used to it and that is good. It has some cumbersome glitches and they never really change and that is bad. I particularly worry about the State Returns which I'm not sure they put enough effort into, but I use them because it's fast.

Connection to QuickBooks broken

It doesn't support 2017 QuickBooks, it doesn't support online QuickBooks, and the only thing it does support is QuickBooks Desktop 2023, which is $800.

The product is good

It's easy to do taxes with it but I am disappointed that it doesn't work with Quickbooks Online as they are both Intuit Products. I also wish that the software would just update to a new year instead of me purchasing it and downloading it again every year.

Balance Sheet Issue

The Balance Sheet information was not easy to see or manipulate. I had entered some liabilities and then it said that things where out of balance. It turned out what the entry was showing me was not everything nor was there an indication that the balance calculation included items that I was not see.
