Good but could be great...

I own a mac. I own a business. Apparently, these two things do not work together when it comes time for tax season... I had to purchase a windows laptop just to be able to do my own taxes because the only "online" options to file my business taxes is a desktop version and that only works for windows computers. Lastly, if I am using QuickBooks online throughout the year it should be second nature to have the ability to transfer data to and from any of the intuit applications. This is not the case for the business side of intuit. If things like these continue to go uncorrected you will lose customers especially the ones in my age group. it's 2023 most things almost all things have moved completely digital we shouldn't be asking for easier transferring of files and not compatible operating systems. Fix these and I will be back next year, if not I will not.

SOME BUGS TO BE WORKED OUT!

1st Time User of TurboTax Business for Windows. In general the product did well for my 1041. The main concern is in the Trust portion, LACK OF A 1099-OID TEMPLATE. There is a "WORKAROUND" posted in the TurboTax Support Community, but it is buried so deep it was very difficult to find... and with absolutely minimal directions and a somewhat 'unofficial' feel, the workaround did a number on my anxiety levels and blood pressure. Next year I will carefully check the reviews before purchasing TurboTax Business Windows download, and will go elsewhere if this issue is not corrected.

Almost Perfect

Works great but very difficult to get answers to simple questions. Can't access help for specific areas of tax return. Put in very words that say an error has been made and help does not come up for that subject. Could be better user friendly.

Small improvements would make TurboTax Business much better, such as importing all information (interest, dividends, stock sales) from investment firms similar to TurboTax Personal and providing for attaching a ".pdf" file to the return for supplemental info with the desktop CD version.
