2022 Corp Tax Return

I paid for the the automatic renewal for the 2022 taxes and it is impossible to find the information when there are several intuit accounts; business and personal. I ended up paying for another 2022 turbo tax business download. So I guess that is how you make the BIG BUCKS!

Business product not as easy as personal product

I have used Turbo Tax personal products for three decades and find it very easy to use, and has helpful information to especially include the Federal and State tax due/refund amounts right there on the screen. The TurboTax Business product though does not have these information displays for some reason. That's the most important information to see, at all times! Those are the numbers we want to know as we complete our forms. In fact, the only way I know to see the Federal and State tax due/refund amounts in the Business product is to open the Form view and find the values in the forms, which is NOT an easy user experience... or to complete the workflow and prepare to submit the returns, which again is way too late in the process to finally get to see those data. These values should be shown on the main screen at all times like the Personal product those. I can only give 3 stars to the Business product for this, and for the rough interface when trying to complete the forms, and print the PDFs (why not just automatically do this for the state 770C/F form?), where we are required to make manual updates to the forms instead of a smooth completion using the wizard interface. Again, the Personal product does this smoothly. I give the Personal product 5 stars easy. The Business product needs to act more like the Personal product in these ways.

I only use Turbo Tax, but...

Turbo Tax has always been my go-to for all my tax purposes. H and R Block is cheaper, but the user interface isn't very helpful. The only downside of Turbo Tax is that Turbo Tax Business is a "Windows" only download. I will not be using Turbo Tax next year due to this fact, and will be hiring a CPA. This was such a hassle to find a PC this year, that I will not be pursuing Turbo Tax as a customer in my 2023 business taxes. Unless Intuit listens to this, and makes a MAC version of the Business Software.

Turbo Tax is pretty good

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1999. The only thing I wish they would change is sometimes boxes that were checked don't stay checked when you go backwards and rerun through some of the forms.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Still a challenge to submit State Taxes

I liked the walk-through style of the interface. I think it would be helpful to list what is expected at each step in advance to make the platform more user-friendly. In addition, I paid $55 for state tax filing and feel I did not receive $55 worth of support. This is especially true since my state does not allow e-filing, which I discovered at the end of the session.
