Family LLC Tax reporting easy

I have very few expenses and only a couple of income sources (rent) for the LLC. The accounting firm was charging over $2000 to do the taxes. I completed the taxes, sent the K-1s and filed in less than 2 hours. The only complaint I have is that it took almost as long to find the Turbo Tax Business software download online as it did to do the taxes.

As a small business, the incorporation of quickbooks with TurboTax makes my life so much better, as well as pulling in previous years info. Makes it a breeze

Small Business Tasker Made Easier

As a Small Business owner, it is good to have to not become a "Pro" at another thing that could take time away from your productivity. This program was easy to follow and understand and I was able to complete in a timely manner.

Form 8453-FE not accepted, but no error message

When e-filing my signature form 8453-FE for a Trust, the signature page itself was not accepted by TT but the error message was vague and unhelpful ("TurboTax can not read data"). After 45 minutes on the phone with tax expert Rochelle, she discovered that this form was improperly configured within TurboTax. However, the fix was made overnight and the form now e-files correctly. Thanks to Rochelle for being relentless in the search for the cause of the error. Also, form 1041 (for Trusts), part 2, line 19 (total payments), prints on the wrong line (it prints on line 18).
