Turbo Tax vs Tax Slayer

I have used Turbo tax for more than 10 years, yet each year it doesn't get better. This year I am a tax consultant volunteer using Tax Slayer which I find easier and gives more details than Turbo tax. Given a choice, I choose Tax Slayer.

Horrendous experience. Put it online and make easy

One of the worst tax experiences of my life for Personal Trust filing. Couldn't put in a 1099-OID correctly and got the run around in the help. Put it online and make it as easy as the personal. Not worth the money.

Its barely useful for estates and trusts

Looks as if the trust and estate section, was an afterthought. There are entire sections of the return which need to be entered manually. If I had another alternative, I would use it instead of turbo tax business. Net year, I may just pay an accountant to do the taxes.
