frustrating at times

Overall Turbo Tax for Business does a good job. However there are areas that do not apply and the software keeps insisting they be included or corrected. For example my small business did not need the CA form 3554. I finally found a resolution via the chat group. Also it would not accept my normal business code. All this causes the need to spend way more time than necessary completing and filing my very small business tax return.

Turbo Tax has some issues

Your Turbo Tax live expert was fantastic. Thank you so much for making this service available. After some workarounds we were able to get the correct information on the 1041 form, even though the program didn't work correctly.

Very user friendly program for filing Form 1065

I am a retired CPA that has been preparing tax returns for almost 40 years. I have always used other programs that our firm had over the years. Doing my own returns now without the aid of the firm's software, so I used this program. Excellent product with very good results.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

My California return was rejected. Turbotax said it was the PBA. I followed the instructions - changed Fed Business Activity, changed state PBA - still rejected. I mad NO changes. Waited a week, updated Turbotax, resent the CA return and it was accepted. Go figure.
