Difficult to file an amended return

I tried to file an amended return and it says it can't be filed electronically. So, I said I'd file it by mail but it didn't give me the address in the instructions. It just said it had already been filed electronically. Also, disappointing that I need to buy a different product to do a small trust instead of being able to use the regular TurboTax program.

Turbo Tax Business is a very strong program

I have used the personal/business software for several years. During 2022 I formed an LLC with a partner and needed the additional tax prep software for the LLC filing. TurboTax Business strongly resembles the personal software in the sections and guided approach. Areas which could use improvement: more definitions of the tax or investment-specific terms. During final review I found two sections that needed updating and the software did not offer the detail needed to make informed decisions. I did find the information on an internet search and the finalized return was posted successfully and quickly.

Did what I needed, though though still pretty hard to use. Had to run the state cleanup script I found online to get the state download to work. Also had to update manually to get the state e-file to work. Sigh.

annoying do loop around change of fiduciary

Turbo Tax is cheaper than an accountant!

get mac version for business
