Why isn't Quickbooks online able to transfer info?

I don't understand why data won't sync between Quickbooks online and Turbotax. The help desk couldn't help at all. My desktop version of Quickbooks is no longer supported so I changed to the online version thinking it would be seamless. I was wrong. I figured it out but had to do a lot more manual work than previous years.

Why cannot you import your own software (qt online) bookkeeping????
I am paying for both (QB online/turbo) that you're making both software's. I shouldn't have to manually have to enter numbers in turbo tax. it's a waste of time. You only import desk to Qt. i been with you guys for 17 years. You used to be able to import all bookkeeping software.

Good, but room for improvement

Had to make several calls to customer service. The automated phone process was simple sometimes and difficult other times. The step by step often wanted numbers to be added. However, if you enter -0- forms may auto populate. This resulted in me making a call to learn how to delete a form. This could have been prevented by not allowing -0- or having -0- result in the form not auto populating.

Bugs & missing tools for Trust return

I was disappointed once again with how poorly TT Business handled our Special Needs Trust taxes.
- The Business and Trust package is missing a straightforward way to enter Required Minimum Distribution (income) from an IRA or Inherited IRA with its corresponding federal tax withholding.
- You still haven't added the feature to download investment forms like 1099-INT, 1099-Div or 1099-B from major brokerage companies.
- When manually entering Investment 1099 data, most (but not all) Step by Step forms assume a blank box is a "0" while others require me to actually enter a "0". One of my 3 Interest and Dividend worksheets repeatedly failed the error check which I finally fixed by going back and entering "0" in each blank field for one of my 1099-Div entries. For some reason, the other two 1099s did not need me to enter all the "0s".
Meanwhile, the Interest and Dividend worksheet developed multiple double blank lines for each attempt to enter the "0" where the error check sent me. They filled up the allocated space and generated the message "See Dividend Stmt".

Turbotax Is an Expensive Solution for My little Co
