Tubotax is user friendly

I found the software easy to populate. With each section, you could get the help that explains what goes in the section. I did not like scanning before uploading, but I understand the rationale. I found it very hard to locate various forms from the IRS site for 2022.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is efficient and affordable for small business users. I have no trouble filing for the past decade using this software. I think more software developers should be this attentive!

Turbo Tax Trust Return - State

I have no idea why, but the State version for the Family Trust return (which I paid $50 for) did not have any Step by Step instructions available. It brought up the tax forms and I had to go through them manually. I'm sure I messed something up!

Way overpriced

I have an S-Corp with only one employee (myself) and Turbotax requires the most expensive product for business and personal filing. It costs me over $200 (not counting State forms) for about one hour of administrative work. I actually gave up the sister software Quickbooks and switched to a generic bookkeeping software for my expenses and payroll because of the cost. It's not practical to switch for tax filing but they sure are tempting me.
