You always make life harder

Last year your software lumped me in as an LLC. Your software clearly stated I was not an LLC. It took me MONTHS to clear that and still have not received a refund from the CA franchise tax board. THIS YEAR your software is now claiming my state taxes were rejected because i have filed a form 565 already. This is the only time this year I have touched my 2022 taxes. So now I have to mail off.

This feature is included in the lower priced product like Deluxe and Premier TurboTax versions. This feature should be added to the business version.

Business Fed software is great - but State is NOT

I was able to prepare the Federal Return for my partnership LLC easily, although some recent new data requirements did not come up during the interview. They showed up during the error checks.
The State return (AZ) is expensive but very wimpy. You need to buy separate software for each State, and for each Type of return (Partner, C-Corp., S-Corp., Estate), whereas the Federal software covers all Types.
There are very few features in the state other than transferring the Fed., filling the forms & printing. And even that was wimpy. During the error check I needed to manually enter data from the Federal K-1's to the state forms !

I found an error i could not correct. I had an asset that was 81% business and your software took 100% of the depreciation. I had to reduce expenses by the difference in order to come out with the correct net income.
Also, it would be nice if it were possible to upload a PDF of brokerage statement so I didnt have to enter every transaction. Otherwise, the software worked well.

Disappointment in some areas

I had to purchase additional updated software first off, due to not being compatible with my 2017 Quickbooks, nor online Quickbooks. That was very frustrating. Next the updates were terrible with Iowa. A lot of figuring out and tech support to get it taken care of. Especially at the very last minute.

I wish this package would be able to carry over transactions from the online Quickbooks version. That would save a significant amount of replication.
