Turbo Tax is the Best

Turbo Tax Fees unreasonable, State by snailmail?

I reluctantly buy TurboTax anually to file taxes for a very simple LLC; each year, I grin and bear it; this year, I paid additional for the State filing (my state, Colorado has online filing) only to find out I need to send via snailmail, really, what a joke.

Last year, I have a problem with whether or not a Sole member of an S corp should use a business version because the 1120S was required. So, I filed 2021 taxes twice just to be safe. This year, I use the business version to file my S-Corp Tax

I have relied on TurboTax for my corporate income tax filings for my small business for many years. By pulling in last year's information, uploading from QuickBooks, and eFiling, it saves a lot of time. It's a bit quirky and I always have to tweak some of the information, but it gets the job done.

Not so great, very confusing

A lot of things are not explained or explained very poorly. I had to go to google and do extensive searches to find out about the instructions and what each term meant. There is absolutely no guidance on the different scenarios and credits. As a long-time user of TurboTax personal return, this one was a total disappointment.

Terrible product

Cant file extension online - oh comon. That is the simplest form of all.
And after all these years, still no online filing for IL state.
This sucks.
I wanted to try TT but Taxact was better.
