CA State Electronic Filing would not allow me to input 0% allocation to beneficiaries for a complex trust that retains all its earnings (and a blank K-1). This was not a simple software to follow. I ended up going to Data Entry to find out where I could make the changes because I could not find it in the recommended "Show Topic List"

Not so straightforward to use. Goes one page at a time. Woud easier if they had a guide through each page of the tax return. Couldn't Efile my extensions. Seems this would be the easiest feature to have ...

Quckbook import is terrible

The import from quickbooks into turbotax business should make doing taxes a breeze. But instead I had to spend 3 days trying to figure out why the balance sheet didn't balance and the payroll numbers where also didn't match and no explanation why.

Not bad but too expensive for my needs

I currently have a "multi member LLC" - a business with my husband. We haven't been operating due to COVID but still have items that are depreciating and aren't ready to close out the business. I hate that I have to pay the full price when it is simply running the depreciation schedule. I feel like we would have cheaper options if it was a single owner LLC, but don't want to make this change to simply save money on Turbo Tax. I wish Turbo Tax considered the complexity involved and there were cheaper options. Also with there was a cheaper option when downloading directly from TurboTax. Its sad other retailers offer it cheaper.

TurboTax worked well except for one issue.

I prepared a Form 1041 and the software worked well. I did run into one problem. I started the Form 1041 in early March but did not finish the return. On March 6, 2023, an update to TurboTax Business occurred. After the update, I could no longer open the tax file that I saved and I had to start the 1041 over from scratch. Over than that, the software worked well.
