TT is a wonderful program! I would recommend it to anyone who asks! We have strayed a few times and we always come back. We will never go away again. We are loyal 20+ years.

Ok, but one big problem

It is easy to file my return with TurboTax. But I ran into a really frustrating problem. My e-file returns kept getting rejected due to a missing/wrong pin. In the file section it asks for a 5 digit pin but the IRS gives you a 6 digit pin that could not be entered. Finally I found that there is another place in the Federal section to enter a 6 digit pin. This all was very confusing and wasted me a couple of hours trying to figure it out. Please add clear instructions and IRS IP Pins in the file section.

1099 entry did not work

I have used TurboTax for years. I really appreciate that the tax info entry is streamlined. But this year the software did not accept 1099-NEC info, and I had a stack of them as a consultant. I did an online search and found a backdoor approach using Forms. But this added a good bit of time (and frustration) to my tax prep. I use Mac software.

TurboTax Basic

Using TurboTax Basic was great! I love the fact that you can take a picture of your W-2's and they add all the information without having to manually add it. I love the design and the step-by-step guide. I have been using TurboTax for 13 years, and I never had any problems or tax audits. I highly recommend TurboTax to anyone that wants to prepare their own taxes each year!

Easy Does It

I've been using TurboTax Deluxe for years. This year I switched to TurboTax Basic (I'm a Senior now) it as so easy. No sweat! Finished in less than two hours.
