Never have had an issue in the 25+ years of using TurboTax. I hope I didn't jinx myself! I always buy the CD because it gives you multiple installs.

I have used TT for as long as I can remember. This is the first year I was disappointed with it. It erroneously added the Capital Asset form and worksheet when it was not necessary which caused a great deal of delay for me figuring out what was proper. I had to manually delete these forms. Also, the Step-By-Step process did not automatically add Form 1095-A and the associated Form 8962 for the Affordable Care Act for my wife which caused my e-file submission to be initially rejected by the IRS.

I have used Turbo Tax for 20+ years. The primary reason is because of the ease of use. And each year the program has been refined to allow it to be more user friendly. Prior to using TurboTax, I was paying a lot of money to a CPA to complete and file my taxes. And I ended up having to pay still more money to the IRS. My first-time using TurboTax, I actually received a refund! And I have been using the program ever since. I have never had to use the Customer Service portion of the program because the examples and explanations given within the actual program have been sufficient for my purposes. Through the years I have recommended TurboTax to friends and relatives with positive feedback. Though my financial situation and filing requirements have markedly downgraded over the past 10 years, I see no reason to stop using Turbo Tax at this point in time.

starting Turbotax forces update before proceeding
the update process gives error on download frequently
1out of 3 times for minor changes to info I would like to continue to edit my return instead of being closed out forcing update before filing would be fine

Turbo Tax is great

Good experience, as usual. Only gripe is the software asking me to file a state tax return. TN does not have a state income tax. I wish you could modify the software to recognize NO STATE INCOME TAX FOR TENNESSEE. Thankyou.
